1:1 training is an individual workout designed around one athlete’s specific needs and goals. Sessions may include ball handling, footwork, finishing, shooting, decision-making, scoring concepts and other areas of development.
-
Small-group training typically includes two to six athletes of similar age, ability or training needs. Athletes receive detailed coaching while also benefiting from competition, partner work and game-based situations.

Yes. However, small groups depend on compatible athletes having similar schedules, ages and skill levels. Coach Q cannot guarantee that a group will be available at every requested time.

When possible, Coach Q may help connect athletes who are a good fit. Parents may also organize their own group before registering.
-
The 308 Skills Lab is a group-training environment focused on game decisions and competitive play. Athletes work on concepts such as spacing, cutting, attacking advantages, reading defenders and playing through 1-on-1, 2-on-2 and 3-on-3 situations.
-
The 308 Shooting Lab focuses on game-speed shooting and scoring development. Athletes may work on footwork, catch-and-shoot situations, shooting off the dribble, movement shooting, finishing and competitive shooting challenges.
-
The shooting machine may be incorporated into Shooting Lab and other workouts when it fits the purpose of the session. Not every shooting workout will consist entirely of shooting-machine repetitions.
-
No. Athletes should be willing to learn, compete and follow instructions, but they do not need to be advanced players. Coach Q adjusts activities when possible to fit the athletes in each group.

Parents are welcome to stay and watch, and should follow the expectations communicated by Coach Q for the specific workout or program. Space may be limited, and minimizing distractions helps athletes stay focused.

-
Consistency matters more than completing an occasional workout. The best schedule depends on the athlete’s age, season, goals, team commitments and ability to practice independently.
-
Notify Coach Q before the workout about any injury, medical condition or limitation that could affect participation. Athletes should not participate against the advice of a qualified medical professional.
-
Training will stop or be modified when necessary. A parent or guardian will be contacted if the athlete cannot safely continue.
